Disney Inspired Fathers Day Gifts

Fathers Day is June 19th this year and in lieu of booking a weekend trip to Disney, we thought we would put together some Disney inspired Fathers Day ideas we think he will love.

1. For the Good Time Dad
Ride photos-- you know you have them. What seemed like such a good purchase at the time has been filed in your box of photos-- or in my case 'Junk Drawer' (which also includes extras of the kids team pictures, school pictures, and scrapbooking materials collecting dust from promises of a vacation book 3 years overdue). Well dust off that family ride photo and find a frame. What better way to say "father of the year" than proof that dad can rock the Space Mountain pose.

2.  For the Cook/Grill Master
The warm weather is here and it's time to fire up the grill. How about a Mickey themed apron and over mitt? I can't promise that the nosy neighbors won't give a second look, but really who cares, you didn't like them anyway.

3. Ahoy Matey! For the Captain in Your Life
If your family is anything like mine, you are currently planning or thinking about your next Disney Cruise. If putting a deposit on a cruise is a bit too much for a Fathers Day gift, give the gift of some cruise memories. A classic Mickey T and some Cruise H2O shampoo will get him dreaming of that cabana on Castaway Cay.

4. For the Dad Who is Out of This World
Send him off to work in style with some subtle Star Wars accessories. His co-workers might notice his affinity for The Force, but he can always use the "my kids gave this to me" excuse.

Do you have any suggestions for the Disney dad? Leave a comment below and let us know!

Happy Fathers Day everyone!

Christmas Alert! What Girl Would'nt Want A Glammy Cinderella Doll?

While I realize my daughter may be past the age when she truly appreciates this doll - and she tends to be a bigger fan of the villains- I am all over it and considering adding it to my collection. Yes indeed I do have a  Barbie doll collection, complete with a Vera Wang Bride Barbie and a Limited Edition Ariel that will NEVER find its way on EBay.

I am high quality y'all

Pre-Order Limited Edition Cinderella Doll: 18''
It's all about the lashes. Words to live by

Available now for pre -order and hitting the shelves October 2, for the price of $99. To own a doll with lashes like that I'd pay it. I'm considering lash implants now as we speak just looking at her. Here's a few of the details from The Disney Store..

•Satin bodice covered with rhinestones

•Full peplum features layers of tulle and organza detailed with rhinestones

•Choker of ebony beads

•Opera gloves dotted with silver rhinestones

•Hair is accented with a glittering headband and gleaming hair clip

•Display stand included

•Plastic /polyester

•18'' H

•Ages 6+

•Imported

•Includes Certificate of Authenticity

•Limited Edition of 5000

The two words " Limited Edition" will make her a must for collectors or for moms who don't mind a hundred dollar doll getting dragged around the house. She does look fantastic. Maybe Santa ( my mom) will bring her to me.

It's Not MAC, But It's Just As Bad...And By Bad I Mean Good. Another Bad Girl Makeup Collection You'll Love

Villians always get a bad rap but at least they can say " Girl I look fine doin bad". MAC showed us before with their Venomous Villain collection that they were right and now The Disney Store is prepared to show us the same with their exclusive  Disney Villian Designer Collection.

This September, Disney will be releasing a special edition makeup collection consisting of eyeshadows, nail varnishes, lip glosses and more. If you're up for it you can also grab a coordinating limited edition Villian doll to go with it, but I bet those will go real quick at only 13,000 available.

eye shadow set. Look fantastic

Shiny lips

Every Villianess needs a good mirror

These dolls look amazing. Is it wrong for a 39 year old to want them?

The makeup collection starts at about $14 and is at Disneystore.com  in August and in stores September. Don't say I didnt warn you darlings.
