Nailed It...Disney Style

My occupation as a preschool teacher leaves me little time or inclination to get my nails done. With the amount of nose wiping, mouth cleaning and hand washing I do on a daily basis my fresh mani wouldn't last a day. I do however LOVE a good pedicure and I try to treat my fingers before heading on a Disney vacation.

I have long admired the elaborate Disney designed digits on the interweb and since Davina and I are makeup lovers, I figured I'd set out to find us some easy Disney nail art, that we could do ourselves before our next big trip.

First stop is Etsy. Here I found a whole slew of choices and I realized that I've been missing out for a long time. Six pages of Disney dedicated nail designs! Here are a few of our faves from a fellow Boston girl, GuavaJellie. That she is from Boston makes them even bettah'-- excuse us while we go and pahk' the cah'.

Davina and I would've been all over these in high school.

The directions on Etsy seem pretty easy and concise. I reached out to the seller/designer Melissa for permission to feature her and she was nice enough to send us a set for review and to use ourselves! Once we get them look for our review, and perhaps even a giveaway. You know we love a good giveaway.

Oz The Great And Powerful In A Bottle. Thanks OPI

some of our favorite things

I always wanted my own bottle of James Franco ( don't lie you do too) and leave it to OPI to hook a girl up.

OPI continues their run of fabulous Disney inspired colors with the " Oz The Great And Powerful" collection consisting of 7 different soft shades.

It seems to have a little of everything from soft pastels to some fun glitters, and who can resist names like  " When Monkeys fly" and " Don't Bust My Bubble"

In " What Wizardry Is This" a new technology for nail polishes is used-liquid sand- giving you a matte finish with some texture and reflective sparkle. As luck would have it that is the color inspired by our wizard himself and it looks fabulous and glittery and everything we're all about

The movie comes out March 8 so mark your calendars, paint your nails and gas up your brooms. I'm so hoping it's everything I want it to be . Check out all the colors below and let us know which is your favorite .

OPI and Disney do it again. Minnie Mouse style!

I've talked before about the awesome collaboration between OPI and Disney with their Pirates Of The Carribean collection. Well now they've done it again and I'm sure that once my daughter sees them, we will own all the colors!

This June, the limited edition Vintage Minnie Mouse collection will hit stores and Disney fans everywhere will get the chance to adorn their nails in four limited edition nail lacquers. All the colors appear to be true to Minnie's personal style and super cuteness. Iconic red and classic pink seem to be the theme, with each bottle setting you back about $9. I Love them all.
