Due to air this Summer Phineas and Ferb- my favorite cartoon boys- will meet up with The Avengers in an episode entitled " Phineas and Ferb : Mission Marvel".
In "Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel," Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor and Hulk enter Danville after Dr. Doofenshmirtz's latest "inator" scheme removes their powers and immobilizes them. Phineas and Ferb meet up with the crew to help them regain their powers and defeat Doofenshmirtz along with a gaggle of Marvel villains.
This is cashing in on an age range that can span pretty wide. My son is 11 and loves both, my daughter who's 8 loves P and F but could care less about the Avengers...besides maybe The Hulk. I'm older than dirt and love them all.
None of these children seem to question the large, green man in the back. Always ask who it is before answering the door
The announcement was made at Comic Con where I'm sure nerds of all ages had the same swooning reaction as my son. That undertone of bitterness you hear for not being at Comic Con is accurate. I love Iron Man and Iron man was there.
Now the big question is is Robert Downy Jr the voice in the cartoon? Please say yes please say yes PLEASE SAY YES!!
I am not the tech girl, so writing this makes me nervous. Such technical terms make my head spin and iOS becomes "Karen is an aSS" and then my computer freezes and blah, blah, blah. I am however the Phineas and Ferb girl so here goes. Please forgive me geeks (Brian) if I offend.
Disney Mobile has announced the upcoming release of Where’s My Perry?, a new mobile game arriving for iOS in late June. If you've got Where’s My Water? for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad, then you know the drill, only this time you've got to help Perry out. Agent P needs to get to the O.W.C.A headquarters but gets all kinds of bamboozled along the way. You've got to help him out by guiding the water and along the way you may see Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Major Monogram.
Available later this month for $.99 in the App store. I will be getting this as I desperately feel the need to help Perry after seeing his face in the image below
Kim Possible is getting the boot from Epcot and my favorite Platypus is taking her place, with some help from Phineas and Ferb

All the would-be secret agents out there will find a great new interactive experience at Epcot this year.
Coming this summer, Disney Phineas & Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure is based on the wily secret-agent alter-ego of Perry the Platypus – faithful pet to the title characters from Disney’s animated series “Phineas & Ferb.” Although just a simple pet to Phineas and Ferb, Perry turns into Agent P in each episode to help stop the misguided plans of his nemesis, Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
Epcot guests will transform into secret agents to help Agent P thwart some of Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s most daring plots. Agents will use a “high-tech secret agent device” to receive clues for each case. Solving the clues will take agents to different places throughout seven World Showcase countries at Epcot – Mexico Pavilion, France Pavilion, Germany Pavilion, Norway Pavilion, Japan Pavilion, China Pavilion and the United Kingdom Pavilion. Agents will scour each country for clues, evil “Inators,” and – with a little bit of luck – help Agent P defeat Dr. Doofenshmirtz
I say AMEN! I never really was into Kim Possible and as you can see from one of my previous posts that I absolutely love watch P and F with my kids and sometimes, even by myself (said in a whisper)
A few weeks ago my husband was watching something lame that may or may not have had a chain saw in it on the television . It's a regular occurence in my household. My usual response is to quietly slink away to our bedroom where I can sprawl out in bed and watch whatever I want. This night was no different, however I found our son already doing what I just described. He had finished reading and snuck into our room for some tube time. He's only 9..no t.v's allowed in the kids room yet.
Words were not exchanged, I instead just got in next to him and settled in for some Phineas and Ferb. A half hour later, he kissed me good night and went back to his bed. I grabbed the remote to put on something else, but paused when a new Phineas and Ferb started. It was one I had never seen before, so I put the remote down and watched...intently. As luck would have it it was a P & F marathon so an hour later when my husband trudged upstairs it was still on. I heard him pause when he opened our bedroom door and walked in
"What are you watching ? "
" Phineas and Ferb" I answered with a sigh
silence... then
" Is Jack in here hiding or something ? "
" Ummm...no "
more silence...then
" Well why are you watching this ? "
" I like it. Leave me be"
I find this happening to me quite often with my boyfriends Phineas and Ferb. It truly is a super cute and family friendly cartoon on the Disney Channel, with humor that I can laugh at. Really , it's a cartoon about two brothers and their adventures on an endless Summer vacation. Every kid and grown ups fantasy. Throw in their pet platypus Perry, who doubles a s a secret agent and their sister who is always trying to bust them in the middle of their antics. Perry is my personal fave. I enjoy that he makes an unknown gutteral sound and has a lazy eye when in "pet" form, but stands tall, wears a fedora and oh hey...no lazy eye, when a secret agent. My son Jack as expressed several times while at Disney World that he would love to see them somewhere out and about . Those cracked out Little Einsteins and Power Rangers are there...why not give P & F a chance? Jack won't be the only one looking for them and yes...I do know all the words to Gitchi Gitchi Goo .
